The Volta Regional Minister, Hon. James Gunu, and his delegation have welcomed the Speaker of Parliament, Rt. Hon. Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin, at the Ho Airport ahead of a parliamentary conference in the regional capital.
The Speaker is in Ho to attend a conference for all Members of Parliament, which is set to take place at the Volta Serene Hotel. The gathering is expected to provide a platform for lawmakers to deliberate on key national issues and strengthen legislative processes.
Hon. Gunu expressed his delight in hosting such an important event in the Volta Region, noting that it reflects the Region’s growing significance in national affairs.
